For Christmas recycling in Tonbridge & Malling (TMBC), you can recycle cardboard, paper wrapping (no glitter/foil), cards (no glitter), glass bottles/jars, plastic pots/tubs, tins/cans, clean foil, and food waste in your food caddy, but keep glittery items, plastic bags, polystyrene, and non-recyclable wrapping paper in your black bin. TMBC have changed the normal collection schedule. HL residents will now have refuse collected in the Wednesday rather than Tuesday as follows: Wednesday 31 December - general waste and food bins Wednesday 7 January - recycling and food bins https://www.tmbc.gov.uk/bins-waste/christmas-waste-collections Please remember that all bins and green containers should only, at the earliest, be put out the evening prior to scheduled collection (that’s Today for collection tomorrow).

HLRA has been in dialogue with Matt Boughton, Head of TMBC, regarding the proposals for the development of approx. 1300 houses on the northern and western boundaries of Holborough Lakes. Matt Boughton has agreed to come along and present the Local Plan, which guides decisions on future development proposals, to Holborough Lakes residents.
