A major change is coming to Holborough Lakes — and residents have an important opportunity to shape what happens next.
Berkeley, the developers of Holborough Lakes, will soon hand over responsibility for managing the estate to the residents through the Residents Management Company (RMC).
At that point, residents will have the opportunity to become Directors of Holborough Management Ltd and play a direct role in deciding how our community is managed and developed for the future.

Becoming a Resident Director is more than simply taking on a title. It is an opportunity to make a practical difference to the place we all call home — helping ensure that Holborough Lakes is well managed, properly maintained and continues to thrive under the guidance of residents.
It is also an opportunity to bring your own experience, skills and perspective to the table.
You don't need to know everything now
A Steering Group has been established to help residents understand what becoming a director involves, explore the responsibilities of the role and prepare for the transition from Berkeley to resident-led management.
We already have 10 residents involved — but we need more!
We're looking for people who are interested in their community, willing to contribute their time and keen to learn. You may have experience in management, finance, property, communications, administration, law — or simply have the enthusiasm to get involved and make a difference.
CAN YOU HELP WITH LEGAL ADVICE?
We are also particularly keen to hear from any Holborough Lakes resident with legal qualifications or relevant legal experience who may be willing to provide some pro-bono guidance.
The Steering Group is currently examining a number of complex issues relating to the transition and future management of the estate, and access to appropriate legal advice would be extremely valuable.
At present, we have no funds available to pay for professional assistance, so any resident who can offer their expertise would be making a significant contribution to the community.
