Changes to Refuse Collection dates for Christmas and New Year

TMBC have changed the normal collection schedule. HL residents will now have refuse collected in the Wednesday rather than Tuesday as follows:
Wednesday 31 December - general waste and food bins
Wednesday 7 January - recycling and food bins
Please remember that all bins and green containers should only, at the earliest, be put out the evening prior to scheduled collection (that’s Today for collection tomorrow). Residents are kindly reminded to remove and store bins as soon as they have been emptied.
USE OF LITTER BINS FOR GENERAL HOUSEHOLD REFUSE
Yet again we have the Litter bins being used to dispose of household waste. Please be aware that not only is this unsightly and attracts foxes and vermin but it also means the Estate Gardeners have to collect and remove it. This inevitably takes them away from their planned activities and there is a cost associated to this which is paid by all HL residents through the service charge.
